The idea behind this experiment was to test the maximum zoom level I could achieve with Leica APO Macro-Elmarit-R 100mm f2.8 which by itself gives 1:2 magnification. With the ELPRO adapter it becomes 1:1. The 2x extender gives a little more zoom. All images are full frame shots. No cropping was done after post production.
This first shot of the ring was made with Leica APO Macro-Elmarit-R 100mm f/2.8 with ELPRO adapter for 1:1 magnification ratio.
The image bellow was done with Leica APO Macro-Elmarit-R 100mm f/2.8 + 2x Leica Extedner APO and ELPRO for 1:2 magnification.
